Available Band Positions The Air National Guard Band of the Northeast is looking for outstanding musicians with the ability to work with people. Primary duties include performing with the concert band, jazz band, Dixieland band, rock band, jazz combo, brass quintet, and marching band. Persons interested in joining the Band are always welcome to sit in with us during rehearsals. There is no commitment and no pressure. As a part-time unit that loves music, and being together, we have an extremely high retention rate. It is not unusual for members to Join during their senior year in high school and stay until forced retirement at age 60. (Even when they don't get paid, we still have retirees sit in with us).
